Most anyone who would be using this program would not necessarily need to attend classes just to run it. There is company who does go all over the country teaching this program and they are VERY good! I attended a 2-day seminar on the use of QuickBooks and it was very rewarding. No, I’m no perfect expert, but there are also blogs available to sign into for questions beyond what you may be able to find online. There are third party books on running this also. I have QuickBooks for Dummies now.

I considered competing software but In the end I decided to go with QB which I’ve been using since and to take the chance.

My worst fear was that the version would corrupt my data. Anyway, I ordered the disk version since so many were reporting issues trying to access the download program.

When i installed it I stopped all antivirus services on my machine Eset, Windows Defender, and Malwarebytes and ran through the installation process. Then I opened PRO and converted the existing company files. The good news is everything went smoothly. Not one hiccup. I’ve been using the new install for 24 hours including opening and closing several times and have not had any issues. Finally switched over from Quicken to Quickbooks after a decade. Had tried doing it 5 years ago, but the increase in complexity was too much.

This time, I paid a bookkeeper to help me set it up, and after my first day on my own I know I’ll never go back to Quicken. If you have a small business or three and are hesitating at spending a couple hundred on Quickbooks, go ahead and do it. Even though I don’t use payroll or inventory, Quickbooks’ basic functionality and invoicing makes it worth it.

When I do get stuck, lots of help online. Highly recommend, as if the world doesn’t already know. It appears that many users have had a problem revealing the license code. Having read their complaints I carefully scraped off the grey cover to reveal the license number. Be careful. I upgraded from QuickBooks without a problem. QuickBooks is a data glutton but what goes in comes out. Great for keeping detailed record of your business. I gave it only four stars because of the work necessary for data input, but I don’t know of any other software that can compare.
