Windows 10 is not without audio issues. Even using HDMI connection or regular desktop speakers, you must have faced this problem. Either the speakers are not working or mic is not working. Sometimes, when changing from headphone to speakers, we have these audio issues. Microsost by default provides some drivers with every audio hardware installed on Windows But sometimes there is a compatibility problem between the company creating the hardware and the drivers installed.

So probably this could create an issue sometimes. So there will be different locations for these drivers VIA and Realtek. But always installing from standard locations like the hardware website or Microsoft website, will instill some confidence in you.
